Years ago, I listened to a podcast from How Stuff Works. The topic was Social Security numbers, and I found out the first person to benefit for over 20 years only paid in 35 dollars. The first Social Security number was assigned to the person who invented the system, not the primary beneficiary. Also in that podcast, they covered that if you were to compare the social security fund to a pot with not augments like increasing its limits by adding to the wall of the container. Start running water into the pot; now we know none stop the jar will fill up. This is an allegory to the social security taxes and how the bare collected if the funds for social security top off at x amount, like the max limit to the water in the pot.
The water is going to overflow in the pan in the social security tax case the taxes are rediverted to other things, and the fact they are betting with our social security with federally back loans and bonds is also a gamble. We, as a nation, have and will continue to increase the average age of life. So an increase in the retirement age makes sense to base the republicans are soft on this. This will possibly allow me to collect when I get older. Right now as covered in Charlie Kirks podcast when the redistribution policy was started, there were 35 taxpayers to one beneficiary. This year in 2019, its 2.9 people are paying into one person benefitting from social security. What happens when the fears baby boomer retirement storm comes? The ratio will drastically be affected, combined with the low birth rates covered in the 2018 fast facts of social security. What happens when the ratio is one person laying in, and two people are benefitting? This is why social security reform is needed.
First of all, we all know of or know people with less legitimate claims to Social Security Disability claims that so affects the funds. They need to be reported and removed, by removing what I call leeches this will extend the funds. If I was a man in his mid-30s will not possibly see a benefit for social security as laid out in the long term budget outlook also noting our deficit will be leading our national debt by 144% of our GDP. Why should I right now continue to lay. Conservative speakers like Ben Shapiro and others I don’t listen to on the regular pointed out. Before social security, people had kids to secure their future. The young take care of the old. The young get old but have kids to be taken care of by their kids. So third world birth rates have not dropped as kids are a resource and the workforce they rely on. Now the fact we in the 1st world developed countries have this social safety net to rely on and many myriads of factors (i.e., hook up culture, culture war of MRA and Feminism, etc…) We have outsourced the responsibility for taking care of our elders to the state and government. Complain when they implement a death tax, or the home takes ownership of the elderly property or possessions as if you deserve it and they should be taken care of for free. Lack of kids being born and reliance on the state for money has caused this current crisis of the funds to social security and birth rate. In short, I should not lay into a broken system that the previous generations let get broken by electing the same corrupt two-party system into power. There was a time say in New York a communist and socialist was elected to the city council via ranked voting. Both parties smashed that system to spare parts then threw it away.
