Also, assets like Stock, Property and other items up to debt influence debt. As reported by NerdWallet “For example, if somebody has $500,000 of assets and $300,000 of debt, that person’s wealth or net worth than $200,000 and a 2% wealth tax would generate a $4,000 tax bill.”
So, Warrens plan is the same as Bernie’s, where its taxes wealth not income. That is double taxing and is usually an incident that occurs on the same source of income but channeled through more than one country.
Households would pay an annual 2% tax on every dollar of net worth above $50 million, and a 6% tax on every dollar of net worth above $1 billion.
